Come hear Julie Kahn, Avid's first certified instructor, demystify the secrets of Trim Mode at the next BAVUG meeting. For nearly 20 years, Julie Kahn has edited nationally-broadcast television productions for networks including PBS, ABC, NBC, the Discovery Channel, Lifetime, and Animal Planet. Her portfolio includes several series, hour-long and half-hour programs as well as film and documentaries. Nominated twice for an Emmy award for her work on the PBS series "Zoom", other productions Julie has worked on have earned a New England Emmy, a Peabody Award and several film festival awards. She was one of the first Avid editors - working on Avid #15 and beta-testing version 2.0 - and was the first Avid Certified Instructor.
